Bully's giddy! Lining up the fringe-left endorsements!

Well, the WEA FINALLY gave it up for Bully after making her sweat for a few weeks and gave her the endorsement she pawed the ground over... the one they tossed at Mussolini Mikey the same day.

They also endorsed Paul Harris.  Wonder why?

Add to that the Sierra Club and the unions, and our local fringe-left nutter has sewn up 25% of the vote her in the 1-8.  You know, everyone to the left of Lenin?

Maybe now when she's in public, she'll stop looking like someone ran over her puppy.

Well, at least until next November.

Bully: Our Lady of the Perpetual Scowl.

You know, it has GOT to suck to be Bully.  Her inability to get the one thing she was sure to pick up like a quarter dropped on the sidewalk... namely, the WEA endorsement... has GOT to sting.

Imagine: Liz Pike's facebook post about teachers was/is LEGENDARY.

Bully carries the teacher's water like they've got a gun aimed at her... and what does she get for it?

Nothing.

Very old pictures aside (And the pictures she uses for her facebook portrait and web site are not likely from this decade) I've seen Bully around on the campaign trail.  She's frightened witless, as evidenced by her continuing failure to interact with those wise enough to disagree with her... but added to that is to her, the inexplicable weight of the WEA's refusal to give Bully the prized endorsement after the explosion of the facebook post?

It's likely she feels it every day.  It's likely people ask her about it.  And it's equally likely that she has no answer.

The end result?

Every time I've seen her, she has the look of a storm across her face.  Angry.  Upset.  She doesn't work the room.  There's none of the typical, usual political glad-handing that the confident, forward-looking politician on the rise.

No... she has the dour expression of someone with a homework assignment that they do not want, do not understand and do not want to do.

One wonders: has she figured it out yet?

Thanks to the M&M Twins for signing up as democrat speed bumps: April was another abysmal month for them.

First, I appreciate that the M&M Twins signed up to get their political careers ended this November.

At some place... deep within themselves... they already know they're dead man (and woman) walking.

But they signed up anyway, although God knows why.

Sadomasochistic streak?

Nevertheless, they stepped up no matter how hard they're going to get smacked down.

As yet another sign of their nonviability, it sucks when you can't raise any money.

Mussolini Mikey is so broke he can't even pay his campaign manager (Kind of like Dingethal, come to think of it.)

For all of April, Musso spent a whole $356.  He says.

Think his campaign "manager," one Michael Pond, who allegedly (If Mikey's C4 is to be believed) hasn't been paid since March, is working for free?

And Mikey, given how out of touch with the district you are and how wrong you are on the issues, here's a clue:

That ain't gonna cut it.  Being in debt as you are at this point of your campaign?

That ain't gonna cut it either.

I know you wasted a filing fee yesterday... but seriously?  You've raised a whole $2750... and only $1050... for the entire month of April!  You haven't even been able to pay your campaign manger since March... has he quit, yet?

Maybe your first, failed, campaign kick off should have been a clue.

My cavalier could have raised more bones then that.  But Mussolini Mikey's titanic ego won't allow him to use his head.

Bully, on the other hand, reported spending even less than Musso.

She claims she spent $266.

For the entire month of April.

Based on the horrific speech she babbled at the democrat goat rope a few weeks back, she's clearly wasting her money by failing to have competent, knowledgeable assistance in the form of a consultant.  She does not appear to have a campaign manager: that's not surprising.... who would want to work for her?

It's tough when you can't really find anyone in the district you want to represent who wants to give you any money.  Just like it's tough that a dim bulb like Mussolini Mikey can get the WEA endorsement while an "executive" for a company that outsources thousands of jobs overseas can seem to seal the deal.

That's not being a "bully".  That's "incompetent."

I went to both of Rep. Pike's town hall meetings.

Mussolini Mikey didn't show for either, and the perpetually scowling Bully only showed up for the first one, in Ridgefield, where, I believe, the certainty of her defeat sank in.

Again, it's got to be tough to run, knowing you're going to lose.

Pridemore and his Winged Monkeys know that.  Dingethal, Briggs, Winningham and increasingly Stonier know it.

And I almost feel sorry for them.

Almost.

Link added in the right column for Bully's rather pathetic fund-raising.

Face it: fund raising is a major indicator of campaign viability.

It's why Bob Dingethal has zero chance: no one is giving him any money.

It's why Mike Briggs has zero chance:  No one is giving him cab fare.

And, of course, it's why Bully Winningham has zero chance: no one is giving HER any money.

Yeah, I know it sucks.  And, I also know that others have won without any money to speak of... but no challenge candidate has had a miserable fundraising season and won since, oh, 1994 or so.

Bad juju, eh, Bully?

Anyway, at the top of the right column is the link directly to Bully's PDC's.  Click on that link whenever you feel like it to reinforce what an abysmal failure her efforts... and her candidacy... (Tsk, tsk... still can't get that WEA endorsement, eh, Bully?) actually has been.

Two weeks later, no WEA endorsement.

The only thing to date that Bully has failed to do is to pay for this endorsement that Briggs, hardly a mental giant, picked up the day of his WEA interview.

Two weeks later... and nothing.

Bully has stuffed the WEA into a tough position.  They can endorse her, but then they'd have to deal with the fallout of endorsing a proven liar.

They can do the alternative, and endorse Liz Pike... which would cause Bully's head to, literally, explode.

What would be best for both Rep. Pike and the WEA is if they just withheld the endorsement in this race altogether.

But you've GOT to wonder:

What's Bully going to do about this?  What are local democrats going to do about this?

What kind of message does it send that the WEA won't endorse her... particularly when there's no one else with a "d" after their name?

This is but another symptom of the generally sad and rather pathetic candidates the left offers the population to choose from.

Being as popular as Hep C can do that to a party.

Another big problem for Bully: no local money.

As I write this, Bully Winningham can't seem to get any local money.

It's tough, I know: she can't even get the WEA endorsement that Mussolini Mikey picked up in one day.

Add to that her little local problem: of her 20 donations... a whole 5 of them are from within Washington State... and maybe 3 of them are from within the district.

It's a sign of non-viability.

Looking at, for example, Lynda Wilson's PDC's (GOP candidate running against Monica Stonier), one finds that first, she's received 90 donations.  And 84 of them are from within this state.

Of course, Wilson has raised roughly 4 times as much money as Bully.  And she raised quite a bit tonite at her fund raiser with several MORE donations which will certainly push her over the 100 level and, perhaps, $40,000.

That is the difference between a living, breathing, growing campaign... and a shriveling, dying, meaningless effort.

And how sad is that?
